Right Voices was started in February 2003, only it wasn’t Right Voices back then. When this site was started, the name was Boycott Hollywood, started to give a voice to the average American on current political topics, mainly the war on terrorism and the war in Iraq. Tired of the constant stream of not-so-popular opinions coming out of Hollywood, en masse, during that time - - this site gave a voice to every day Amercians without the available platform enjoyed by Hollywood folks.

As time went on, we made the change to Right Voices, it continues to be a multi-author blog with authors from all walks of political persuasion and lifestyles.

Opinions.. everyone has them. People base their opinions on facts, as they see them - history, as they view it, morality, as it applies to themselves, personal experience and different frames of reference. “Right” on this site doesn’t necessarily mean Republican or Conservative - Right Voices, as it applies to this site, means that it is an open discussion forum from voices with opinions from all sorts of people.

For everyone who feels strongly that their opinion is right - - there is always someone there to debate that it’s wrong. On this site you will find authors and regular readers from all walks of life . . right, left, middle, Republican, Democrat, Moderate, Religious, Atheist.. all kinds and all types. We like to think of it as a discussion site where we share ideas, opinions, debate and try real hard to respect each others opinons on the topics at hand, as well as their personal right to voice that opinion.

Having said that . . .it is a rare moment where we will disallow an individual from participating in the discussion on this site. However, the authors of this have the right to remove participation privilidges when warrented and as they see fit on commenters who are abusive and disrespectful to other participants in this forum.
